White Ash

Fraxinus americana · White Ash is a hardwood and is hard, dense, tough and very strong but elastic. It has sapwood of creamy white and heartwood medium to greyish brown, often streaked or blotchy.

It's robust structure, good looks and flexibility combined make ash ideal for furniture applications.

It is also used in making bows, tool handles and other uses demanding high strength and resilience.
